iPod Like Operation

The grip control knob is similar to that of an iPod, making operation familiar for iPod owners. The high-speed search bar key allows users to scroll up or down through music and video files.

Search Function

music search Simply press the SEARCH MODE key to access a variety of modes. Direct Search enables searching by entering the first three letters of the playlists, artists, albums, songs, podcasts, genres or composers, then turning the knob right/left to get a list of songs. It is also possible to search using Alphabet Search, Skip Search and Related Search functions.

My Playlist

My Playlist allows you to create a playlist of up to ten songs from an iPod connected to an iPod/iPhone direct receiver. The playlist is created by using the unique ID allocated for each song stored on an iPod.

A wide palette of colours are available using Variable Colour illumination and display which allows you to customise your receiver to your taste. This function also makes it easier to match the receiver to a vehicle’s interior lighting colour.

The KIV-700 features iPod Album Art which displays on the 3-inch TFT colour screen just as you would see it on an iPod screen. Video Playback is also available for displaying video files stored on your iPod.
