LANE ASSIST WITH JUNCTION VIEW
This feature guides you to the correct lane for navigation, avoiding confusion on the motorway and multi-lane junctions. For additional assistance, it can ecven display the road signs on major motorways.
ecoRoute™
ecoRoute™ helps you find more fuel efficient routes and provides a Fuel and Mileage Report so you can keep track of fuel usage. It also features ecoChallenge that helps drivers improve driving habits and increase fuel efficiency.
TMC INSIDE
TMC tuner offers real-time traffic information on the GPS map display. The system can also calculate a route to avoid congestion according to the traffic information received. The DNX5280BT and DNX4280BT have a built-in TMC tuner to support hassle free driving.
A/V Function
iPod/iPhone MUSIC AND VIDEO PLAYBACK
The DNX5280BT and DNX4280BT are iPod/iPhone friendly and this means that searching for music or a movie title is a snap via the touch panel. In addition to conventional searches for playlists, artists, albums and genres, additional search commands can also be performed for music videos, TV shows, movies, video playlists, etc. Kenwood's exclusive feature is the "My Favourite Albums" feature which allow you to "flick through" album art from a connected iPod or iPhone and create your own "Top Ten".
SD PLAYBACK
Play music files (AAC/WMA/MP3/WAV), movie files (MPEG1, 2, 4/H.264/WMV), and photo files (JPEG) stored on SD cards with the SD function featured in the new DNX5280BT. 
On your next trip, snap a photo with your digital camera, insert the SD Card in the slot and share the moment with everyone in the car on the headunit display or on an optional rear monitor.

BUILT-IN BLUETOOTH
The DNX5280BT and DNX4280BT come equipped with built-in Bluetooth capability to enable hands-free cell phone operation so you can keep your hands on the steering wheel where they belong and concentrate on the road ahead.

Advanced Operability
FRIENDLY NEW GUI
A new and improved GUI for easy operation. "Split Screen" shows both Navigation and Source control on the same screen. "Picture in Picture" puts both Navigation and either Video or a Camera (optional CMOS-200/300) on the same screen. With "Primary/Secondary Screen", you can toggle between Navigation and Source screen. Regardless of the menu display, all screens can be controlled via the touch-screen operation.
GUI COLOUR COORDINATE
A wide palette of colours are available on the DNX5280BT and DNX4280BT's Graphical User Interface, which can be colour coordinated to match your vehicles interior. With 32,767 colour variations available, getting colours to suite you and your vehicles appearance couldn't be easier.
MULTI-LANGUAGE MENU & TAG
The DNX5280BT and DNX4280BT support multiple languages such as English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Greek, Polish, Czech, Turkish, Russian, Arabic, Chinese, Hebrew, Persian, and Thai on your basic menus. Furthermore, it supports tag information stored in your iPod or USB devices for all the above languages.
SETUP SCREEN
In the previous models' setup screens, the categories were displayed in text format resulting in slower search. The new DNX5280BT and DNX4280BT display these categories in graphic form, allowing users to quickly find the feature with ease.
