The high brightness and visibility of the FL display may sometimes seem to be excessive during nighttime driving, etc. To deal with this, models with the Flip-down panel mechanism and most high models are provided with a Display Off mode. Continued ease of operation is assured with the auto on function: the display automatically illuminates for approximately 5 seconds any time a control operation is performed.
