Audio DSP Listening Modes

A digital memory circuit that reads ahead of the CD laser and stores the musical data to decrease skipping. When movements or vibrations keep the laser from reading digital information, the stored data is retrieved from memory, providing uninterrupted playback. Most Kenwood models use 4 Mb memory buffer for a full 3 seconds of shock protection.
