Smart Radio by KENWOOD

The description "Smart Radio" already gives it away: KENWOOD Smart radios, in addition to receiving analog FM and digital DAB+ stations, also play countless internet radio stations from around the world and various podcasts. They can be integrated into your home network via Wi-Fi. The Smart Radio can also connect to the streaming platforms Amazon Music*, Deezer*,or Spotify* Connect. Furthermore, most Smart Radios also support playback of Spotify* Premium's lossless audio service.

* To play the paid streaming services from Amazon Music, Deezer and Spotify, a corresponding subscription and a compatible smartphone are required.

Spotify Lossless Audio

Thanks to Spotify* Connect, KENWOOD's versatile smart radios not only allow for convenient control and operation of all audio content from the Spotify* Premium service, but they are also already prepared for playback of audiophile streaming content from Spotify* Lossless Audio. This allows you to enjoy uncompressed audio files with up to 24-bit/44.1 kHz resolution in outstanding sound quality.

Comfort and flexibility thanks to Apple Airplay

With Apple AirPlay 2, music becomes the perfect sound experience in every room: stream your favorite music in high quality from your iPhone, iPad, or Mac directly to the KENWOOD receiver and enjoy synchronized sound across multiple compatible audio devices in different rooms thanks to the multi-room function.

Listen together with Bluetooth Auracast

Many KENWOOD Smart Hi-Fi devices are equipped with the latest Bluetooth® technology, guaranteeing the best possible sound quality with low energy consumption. Bluetooth Auracast™ is particularly convenient: it allows audio signals to be transmitted simultaneously to multiple compatible devices – ideal for listening to music together. Conversely, KENWOOD devices can also receive Auracast™ streams from other sources.

TIDAL Connect

TIDAL Connect is a wireless streaming technology that lets you stream music directly from the cloud to this Hi-Fi system, using your phone, tablet, or computer as a remote control. It supports lossless formats like HiRes FLAC and Dolby Atmos without compressing or downsampling the audio.

OKTIV - Control of the radio via App

The OKTIV application (App) developed by Frontier Silicon provides a complete, versatile and easy-to-use set-up experience and controller for our next generation connected audio systems. Dependent on the capabilities of the connected audio devices it enables users to navigate between audio modes, browse content and control playback volume on the audio devices. The application synchronises automatically with our KENWOOD audio system, so you can switch easily between using the audio system's controls and those of the OKTIV™ app for more convenience.
